Heidelberg Innovation was founded in 1997. The company invested exclusively in Lifescience companies (biotechnology, medical technology, pharma, diagnostic). The team currently manages a total of € 113m in two funds.

The first fund of € 12m was sold via a secondary after expiration of its contractual runtime.

The second fund of € 93m ended its contractual runtime by December 31, 2011 too and is being liquidated at best possible conditions without time limits since then.
